Three new members have been appointed to the FVR – Finnish Vaccine Research leadership team. Katja Volanto-Lumppio, Head of Research Services and Satu Grönberg, Head of People, joined the leadership team on 1 December 2024. Laura Grant has been appointed as Director, Marketing and Communications starting on 10 January 2025.

Laura will be responsible for the development of FVR brand, reputation and stakeholder relations both in Finland and internationally. She has versatile experience in international marketing and communications in several different fields, including biotechnology, software and consumer goods.

Katja is responsible for the company’s Research Services matrix function, including project and account management, R&D and competence development of clinical expertise. She has worked in versatile clinical research and operational front-line positions in international pharmaceutical companies and companies providing research monitoring services.   

Satu is responsible for FVR’s HR and People development, as well as the company’s sustainability roadmap. Throughout her career, Satu has worked in diverse positions related to the development of operations and people management in international operating environments.
