FVR – Finnish Vaccine Research has appointed its new Board of Directors

The Board is chaired by Saara Hassinen. Continuing members are Juhani Eskola, Timo Lepistö and Tapio Visakorpi.

We are pleased to welcome Outi Vaarala, Executive Vice President, Research & Development at Orion Pharma, as a new member of the Board. Vaarala is a Professor of Pediatric Immunology and Professor of Autoimmune Diseases with PhD in immunology, bringing strong expertise in pharmaceutical R&D, immunology and medical science to FVR’s Board.

FVR warmly thanks outgoing Board members Liisa-Maria Voipio-Pulkki, Sirpa Jalkanen and Kirsi Komi for their valuable contribution.

The new Board brings together broad expertise in health technology, vaccine research, clinical science, business leadership and pharmaceutical R&D - supporting FVR’s work as a national vaccine research company.
