BE READY PLUS is a one-year Coordination and Support Action (CSA) funded by the EU’s Horizon Europe programme.

This one-year project aims to broaden the participation of EU Member States and Associated countries by building a European strategic Research and Innovation Area in Direct Synergy with EU and International Initiatives for Pandemic Preparedness. This program is an action-oriented bridge between strategy and a fully operational European clinical and research partnership for pandemic preparedness — built to activate quickly and effectively when health crises hit. As such, FVR acts as a relevant partner for the partnership to create, maintain and improve the so-called network of 'ever warm' clinical research facilities and clinical research infrastructures ready for use in the event of a pandemic emergency. The project is strategic also for our company as we implement our mission to promote health and safety based on science.

BE READY PLUS is laying the groundwork — organisational, financial, and technological — for a dedicated European Partnership for Pandemic Preparedness called BE READY NOW, anticipated to launch around 2026. It ensures Europe is better structured, funded, and ready to act rapidly when new public health threats emerge.
